Our Story…
Hi, My name is Jodi!
I love family, traditions, great food, great drinks, and the laughter and bonding that happens when people gather. I love hearing people’s stories, because everyone has one, that is unique to themselves.
That’s how we got started….
I remember when I was little standing around in the kitchen at family functions, as it was, and still is, the hub for Great food, drinks and the best stories with lots of laughter.
I come from a family of entrepreneurs and to help out the family, I would hand tie many of the deluxe mulling spice sachets. It was over 30 years ago that The Spice Cabinet was started. We are now the 2nd generation family owned small business keeping the traditions alive. Hense the name change to The Spice Cabinet Traditions. We are now located in Innisfail, Alberta.
You may have seen us at a craft show or farmers market somewhere across Canada selling our Gourmet Hot Chocolates, Family Recipe Spice Mixes, Cranapple Cider, or Deluxe Mulling Spices over the years. Today we are still handcrafting the original recipes, each gourmet mix uses only premium ingredients and are still individually packed by loving hands.
We pride ourselves on simplifying gourmet, and our customers are always stopping by to share their recipes and ideas. Whether it is using the spices in their everyday cooking or using the hot chocolate mixes in their baking. I love hearing how creative everyone gets. Our customers are like family to us!
Today we are in stores all over Canada and have an online business too! We are proud to keep our traditions around for many more years to come.

Are your products Gluten Free?
Yes, our products are Gluten Free.
Are your Products Nut Free?
Yes all of our ingredients are manufactured in nut free facilities, and contain No Nuts of any kind.
Are your spices 100% natural?
Yes, Our mixes are 100% natural, GMO and MSG free.
What allergens are in your products?
The Spice Mixes contain Mustard The Hot Chocolates contain Dairy and/or Soy
Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at thespicecabinetsales@gmail.com . If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
