About The Spice Cabinet Traditions

Hey! I’m Leah. I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new owner of The Spice Cabinet. This company has proudly been family-created and operated since 1994 by Marlene and Andy Wipf,  then Marlene’s daughter Jodi and Ray Bergeron, offering authentic, small-batch, Canadian-made blends. It’s an honor to continue a business with such deep roots, a strong reputation, and a legacy of quality and care.

We’re excited to share that we’ve recently moved our production to Okotoks, Alberta, my hometown, where I was born and raised, and continue to operate my own business, Spotted Sage. I bring with me years of experience in family-run entrepreneurship. From working alongside my mother in Champagne Travel to co-running S & K Enterprises, a thriving gift basket business, small business has always been a part of who I am.

Now, I’m combining my experience, passion, and commitment to quality to grow The Spice Cabinet while staying true to its roots: honoring the past, celebrating the present, and embracing a future of bold flavors and heartfelt tradition.
